“Our host was flexible and welcoming as we arrived late to this lovely spot. Dogs, horses, and delicious hospitality in the middle of rolling hills. Would have loved to spend more time here and recommend this place highly.....”
“I guess before google this lovely guest house would have been featured in off the beaten track books for the UK. A lovely welcome from the owners and a spotless well appointed double room with great ensuite. The TV reception was a bit sporadic but it is in a remote area amongst the hills. The cooked breakfast was fabulous and the host was always in good humour. We were more than happy to go back from th lake district on 2 of our 3 nights to be sure of a good nights peaceful sleep in lovely surroundings and if the weather is good the sunsets at the back of the house are amazing....”
“We stayed at Bessiestown about six years ago on a trip to Scotland and it was fabulous. We decided to try it again on our next trip up North and it was just as wonderful. The rooms are luxurious and the hosts are very friendly. We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast. The surrounding area is so pretty and quiet so we had the most restful sleep. I recommend this B&B to everyone and we will definitely come again next trip to the North......”
