Swimming Pool
Our indoor heated swimming pool is open from mid-May to September. The pool measures 32’ by 20’ and from just less than 3’ to 6’ 6” deep. It is available for use by guests from 9 to 11 am and from 4.30 to 8 pm on most days, although closed on Saturday mornings and some Sunday afternoons.

Riding can be arranged at local riding centres. Experienced and inexperienced riders catered for. Half hour to daily treks and stable management days.

We offer a farm trail of about 2 miles which takes you through our beautiful meadows, woodland and local lanes to see something of the scenery and wildlife that surrounds Bessiestown. There are also plenty of other walks, from family rambles to more strenuous hikes, and there are experts available if you prefer an accompanied walk with a knowledgeable local guide.

Bessiestown is an ideal base for cycling, golfing, fishing, birdwatching and touring.
