Self Catering Holiday Cottages                  

Situated around an attractive paved courtyard with hanging baskets and flower troughs are two tastefully converted spacious self-catering cottages.

Adjoining the guesthouse is the Barn Cottage, which has central heating and is tastefully decorated throughout as well as being laid out to make the most of the beautiful views.

The entrance hall leads to two spacious ground-floor bedrooms – one with a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table, vanity wash basin unit and easy chair. The second bedroom has twin beds and fitted wardrobe. The bathroom is next to the bedrooms and has a toilet, wash basin and walk in shower. A patio door leads out on to a paved patio with picnic table and chairs and a lawned area with fields beyond where sheep, horses and our rare breed pet pig graze. The views stretch as far as the eye can see over Scottish Border countryside. There is no passing traffic – just wide open space and wonderful sunsets.

The Stable Cottage is opposite the guest house and of the same high standard as the Barn Cottage. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor - a double room with ensuite wet room. Also a spacious twin room with en-suite bathroom. Patio doors lead out onto paved seating area which enjoys similar extensive views. A staircase leads up to the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.

Bed linen and towels are provided.

Weekly Rates

Barn Cottage sleep four (double room and twin room) shared bathroom.

Stable Cottage sleeps four (double room with ensuite shower room and twin room with ensuite bathroom)

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Deposits

Bed and Breakfast. A non returnable deposit of £50 per room is payable at time of reservation. The balance to be paid on departure. Cheques made payable to J SISSON.

Self Catering. A non returnable deposit of £100 per week booked and £50 per three night break is payable at the time of reservation. The balance to be paid on arrival. Cheques made payable to SISSON.

Arrival time between 4 and 6 pm on day of arrival unless alternative arrangements have been made with the proprietor. Accommodation to be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure.

Ample 'safe' parking. However, cars are parked at owner's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents. Own transport is essential.
